God’s forget-me-nots

When I walked through the forest with my friend Cath, this morning, we talked about our Sunday's sermon. I also shared this beautiful quote:
The Valley of Humiliation is not always a barren place; God’s “forget-me-nots” are growing there! And they are always to be found by those who know how to search for them.


We talked about God's amazing forget-me-nots: His promises. I am sharing one of his promises (out of yesterday's sermon) with you:
Come now, and let us reason together, said the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)

GOD'S FORGET-ME-NOTS

Sometimes the Lord brings low - and lifts up. This verse out of the Book of Isaiah is one of God's amazing "forget-me-nots" special for me. Would you like to share some of (your) God's "forget-me-nots" here?

    His promises are good.

    I remember hearing that this verse was on a nation's flag. I googled and can't find it. Have you ever heard that? Maybe I am confused... ;-)

    Another promise that came to me and I had to come back and tell you..."Draw nigh to God and HE WILL DRAW NIGH to you!"--James 4:8 :)

    I love the verse you shared. Also 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
