Remember that God's promises are still flowering, even when you're struggling with winter in your soul. Living by faith is reaching for spring when it really looks like winter.
MANIFOLD MERCY
Our Beloved is unto us a bundle of myrrh, a cluster of camphire. When you lay hold upon one golden link of the chain of grace, you pull, pull, pull, but look! As long as your hand can draw there are fresh "linked sweetnesses" of love still to come.
THE MERCY OF GOD
Like the drops of a lustre, which reflect a rainbow of colours when the sun is glittering upon them, and each one, when turned in different ways, from its prismatic form, shows all the varieties of colours, so the mercy of God is one and yet many, the same, yet ever changing, a combination of all the beauties of love blended harmoniously together.

- Could you share some tips for (spiritual) winter welness?
Memorizing God's Word is something that has helped me greatly. I don't mean just memorizing it for the sake of the mind, but memorizing it with my heart...taking it as slow as it takes to become a part of me. Thank you for a great post, Aritha!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThanks Dianna ♡

BeantwoordenVerwijderenAmen!
Yes, He fully demonstrates His mercy in Jesus Christ.
VerwijderenI like to sing from my old hymnbook at night before bedtime. January and February are the hardest months for me...dark early, days seem long. Your post today is so wonderful. Such a lovely description of God's mercy! Thank you.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenAs you write, God`s word and looking at early blossoms are perfect wellness tips,... to add a few...hmmm...dancing to the LORD in my room, trying not to be too hard on myself if there is something I don`t do... Saying a prayer of thanks very first thing, for his new mercies in each day...♡
Thank you Shayndel for oyur great comment. Love to read about you. Not to be too hard is a good idea! Thank you so much.
VerwijderenThis was such a beautiful post...really got my inner eyes looking heavenward at the beauties yet to be seen...This was so lovely. Thank you. Winter wellness tips? Spend time each morning in God's Word...His mercies are new every day...spend time outside in God's world, no matter the weather...try to get some fresh air in one way or another every day. If it is not possible to go out, at least enjoy the view from inside. God's beauty is in every season. Try to spend time with friends/family as often as possible. Have a tea party or coffee time, a fellowship time with other ladies, Bible study...share the Lord with others and encourage one another. Read good books, call friends on the phone for a good long chat.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPamela, so glad with your comment! Yes, Gods beauty is in every season!
