Night is the best time for discussion.
The day is for crowds.
The night is for weighing words.
This is how we study…
question beside question,
text beside text.
What I saw in the Temple does not leave me.
Tables overturned.
Authority exposed.
So I go at night.
Not to decide,
but to examine.
I come as the teacher of Israel.
Used to ordering Scripture.
But the conversation opens it instead.
Wind you hear but cannot hold.
I cannot grasp it.
Life given where none was expected.
I leave still turning the texts.
