This week I noticed something small in Hebrews 8:1.
Most of my Bibles say: “who is seated at the right hand…”
But the Greek says: He has gone to sit.
Only my Telos Bible renders it beautifully: “He has gone to sit down.”
In Greek you can still feel the movement. And that makes it come alive to me. Not just a High Priest who happens to be there, already seated. But One who has gone to take His seat.
That nuance made the verse glow ✨
